Cellophane is the only transparent material we offer.  It is derived from wood-based cellulose fibers and is 100% biodegradable.  Our French manufacturer has created this cellophane specifically for wrapping cheese. It is designed to be permeable to moisture and allow oxygen exchange.  The porous properties of our cellophane make it a perfect material for packaging cheese.  Cellophane is not treated with any plasticizers and poses no health risk and it will not impact flavor.  Cellophane sheets work well for most cheese types, especially bloomy rinds and any small cheese that is sold whole.  Cellophane can be custom printed.We stock Cellophane in 8x9 and 9x12 sheets.
