Cellophane is the only transparent material we offer.  It is derived from wood-based cellulose fibers and is 100% biodegradable.  Our French manufacturer has created this cellophane specifically for wrapping cheese. It is designed to be permeable to moisture and allow oxygen exchange.  The porous properties of our cellophane make it a perfect material for packaging cheese.  Cellophane is not treated with any plasticizers and poses no health risk and it will not impact flavor.  Perforated Cellophane has visible perforations that afford extra airflow to delicate cheeses that require more air flow to keep their rinds alive.  We stock Perforated Cellophane in 9x9 and 11x11 sheets.
